Ricardo Lagunes and Antonio Díaz are Mexican defenders speaking out against mining company Ternium. They were forcibly disappeared in January 2023 – by whom is not known. Enforced disappearances are a way of trying to silence defenders standing up for their communities. But their families are still fighting to uncover the truth about what happened to them, and whether they are still alive.
